Ordered GCSE 9-1 AQA French/German books instead of Ed Excel

Post by Optimist »

Just received, by post, GCSE 9-1 AQA French/German revision books instead of Ed Excel. Realised the school does Ed Excel. Should I change the books, or are the MFL new GCSE specs generally the same for all boards. My fault for incorrectly ordering, btw.

Suppose, but I ordered from CGP, and not bought directly from bookshop. Returns cost will be mine, so cheaper to buy a replacement from a bookshop. Any MFL teachers out there who may be able to determine if there is a telling difference between the specs.

I was led to believe that the 9-1 Aqa German books weren't even available yet. I've preordered it as school recommended we buy it. I seem to remember there was only a Aqa version of German, no other boards.

I ordered the exam revision guide and workbook, below:

Sorry I got confused, as in your first post you mentioned French and German books. At the moment they only have aqa German books, and then only to preorder, so you can't have got the wrong German ones at all, only French ones?

I can't help with the French ones as my DD is only doing German.

I'll look. I thought they hadn't even been published yet.
