Any chance of successful appeal to WHSG? Please help.
Hello,
My DD scored 302.991 so just missed the 303. We live a 10 minute walk from WHSG. We have been advised to apply anyway and to appeal if/when our application is rejected.
DDs headteacher has said that he will support our appeal as he believes DD should have passed.
My question is- has anyone ever got into WHSG on appeal?
Thank you.

Current year 8 has 213 when pan was 210. Could that mean that some got in on appeal?

Or there were more than one child on the exact same score/distance criteria - and the school felt able to temporarily increase their PAN to accommodate them. It may also mean that further up the school some people may have left so that actually, over the whole school cohort, the school PAN remained the same.

We are talking about Westcliff High School for Girls, here, I think? PAN there is 184 or 185. Are you thinking about Wallington?Moon unit wrote:Current year 8 has 213 when pan was 210. Could that mean that some got in on appeal?
