Yes they are - DS passed :D

The email said: "891 candidates sat the second stage test and 746 have met the required standard."

Still waiting for Wilsons.

746 out of 891? Why SGS wants the second stage?

The writing exercise quite often changes the relative ranking of the boys. Someone who comes in the top 50 on the SET, could drop to the 600s overall.

My son has passed as well !. Its very annoying that they don't share the scores unlike the girls schools. That at least would have given an indication on the percentile of where the child stands. From the email it looks like 746 have met the required standard out of 891 who took the test.

As much as that! Wow, that's a big change. Still, they are passing five-sixths of the children - can see why some people might wonder whether the second test is really worthwhile.

Congratulations! I also wish we had the scores, we'll just have to play the waiting game instead.

At least, they should consider giving Very likely, Likely or not likely category, like Latymer or HBS. It is useless info just to know that DC passed the test and is one of 746 candidates for 135 places.

We're out of catchment so it's only 60 places for us :?
