ST Albans High School for girls adds another class in Y7

St Albans High School for girls has added another class in Y7 so there are now five classes with a total of 125 girls.

This is great news for applicants who will be sitting in January as there will be more places. DG

They did this also for the year that just entered the school. It is a big step change for them, but they have some big building projects in the pipeline and have to pay for them somehow I suppose.
It was always a distinguishing factor compared to Habs so I think it is a bit of a shame. But as long as they have enough applicants and can keep the class sizes at the same level I don't suppose it will make a lot of difference.
The only real grumbling I have heard from my 2 DD has been about the length of the lunch queue!
However the new dining room building should help with that: supposedly to be ready for Sep 2018...
