Kent PESE
Hi
My son scored the below mark with TOTAL MARK of 380 in Kent PSSE Test.
Maths : 136 out of 141
English : 105 out of 141
Reasoning : 139 out of 141
Passing mark for each subject is 106 and due to 1 mark in English, he was not offered a passed mark for the entire test.
Is there any chance for us to apply for grammar school, as there's an option of appealing through Headteacher Assessment Panel where his Primary school head teacher can appeal for it.
Need advise on this

Re: Kent PSSE
The Head Teacher’s assessment has passed, but with that score you stand a good chance to succeed at appeal next Spring. You need to apply as usual on the CAF as you cannot appeal for a school you have not applied for.

Dear Beaconnewmum
Do you think I still can include Grammar Schools in my school application?

Yes - you must do if you want to appeal. You will get rejected but you can then appeal this. If you don’t put them on the form you cannot appeal them.

Hi Friends,
My son got 97 in English. But, the overall score is 332.
Is there any chance for appeal? What is the process of appealing?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Appeals!
Please read all the Q&As.
Start here.
Whether or not it is worth appealing mainly depends on the strength of your academic evidence:
http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeal ... cation#b11" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and on your reasons for wanting a place at the school being appealed for:
http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeal ... -school#c2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
See also "What are my chances at appeal?":
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeals/general#a36" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You cannot appeal until March. Appeal hearings take place in the summer term.
If you wish to appeal, you must include grammar schools on your CAF:

If you require further assistance, please start your own thread here on Appeals, and we will try to help.
