Skinners' Grammar - Can this be right?
Stumbled across this showing the 2017 GCSE results. Skinners' Grammar showing 76%.... After a years of 100%, can this be right?

It might be because it was the first year of the new tougher GCSE?

But all the other grammar schools in the area did very well? The boys' grammar in TW, which is not super selective, and takes every boy who passes who lives near enough, and quite a few more on appeal, got 90% strong pass.

Looks like there was a problem with Eng Lang. These students not being ones who did a Kent test that tested English?

I think the issue is that those who did Maths in Year 10 did not do the reformed exams so aren't counted. Schools were told this.

Also their brightest Maths students aren't included as they all took it in Y10!

This is a clear example of why a school should not be judged by league tables.
Also, maybe they thought that RE would be an easy subject?

No - see my post above - they did not take the new GCSE - a pretty silly decision.
