Quite a lot of girls travel to SHSG from along the Greater Anglia line to Southend Victoria, then bus. She wants the train from Shenfield that arrives at Southend Vic at about 7.52, then follow the herd. Much more flexible than 'one off' coach services and you can use your season ticket to meet up with friends from intermediate stations, or even local girls back in Southend, at the weekend :) .

There is an SBC coach service from Brentwood/Shenfield to Westcliff, or train to Southend Victoria and bus up to the school.

On the Southend Victoria line, you can also get the train to Rayleigh, then bus to Kent Elms corner and a 10/15 minute walk, but I'd be tempted by the bus from Southend Vic - First Bus 21 / Arriva 29 from outside the station.
