Got the results !!! My DS got 122.86
Required pass mark is 104
Lowest entry score last year was 106.89

"If your Son’s score is 104 or higher, he has attained the required pass mark to be considered for a grammar school place.
We would therefore advise that you to apply for Ilford County High School as your first preference on your application. However, there is no guarantee that he will be offered a grammar school place."

Everyone gets a standardized score and then everyone is ranked. Highest score is 135 I think ? if you are in the catchment area you will get offered the place if in the top 180 ranked boys. A number of boys who get the place wont accept it so then the next ranked boy gets the offer.

My DS got 113.24. I know the lowest intake score last was 106.89 but what is the realistic chance of home being selected first time round with this score?
