Still no letter!

How many others are still without a letter giving all the detailed 11+ result information? It's meant to go 1st Class on Friday and after 3 delivery days we still haven't received anything!

Dear Parent / Carer

If your child has sat the 11+ test between the 09 September and 29 September the results will be posted to your home address. Unfortunately we will be unable to email the results. The results letters will be posted on Friday 13 October first class and therefore you should receive them by Monday 16 October. If you have not received your results by Tuesday 17 October please contact our service on 01926 414143 (option 2) or email: elevenplus@warwickshire.gov.uk

No letter here either. I will ask for a resend if it doesn't come tomorrow. I had the letter from the Birmingham consortium today.

It appears to be the sharing of scores has caused a hold up again.

My niece registered through Bham and got her bham letter last Thursday. They asked for results to be shared with Warks, but no warks letter received yet!

There is a recorded message on warks number saying to contact them if letter not received by tomorrow (wed)

We only received our letter today and it was postmarked 16th October - which means it was only sent out yesterday and not on 13th October as promised. So hopefully for those still waiting you will get your letters tomorrow.

We aren't affected by the issue of result-sharing with Birmingham though it's interesting to note that at least one envelope wasn't sent out until Monday 16th. We aren't doubting the mark given to us over the telephone but would like to know the ranking information which we still don't have. Thanks to the parents who have posted lists of general ranking figures which have allowed us to estimate where our child's score lies. For peace of mind, and to talk through the result information with our very anxious child, we do need the full set of written results. It can't be right that the Warwickshire notification system has some families in receipt of everything on Saturday, yet we are here on Wednesday morning with only partial information and nothing at all in writing.

Just home and the letter is here! It's another one with a Monday 16th postmark rather than the promised Friday 13th dispatch date.
