CAF question

Post by beoptima »

Posting this query on behalf of a friend as they are not part of this forum

They have put their 4 options in CAF form and submitted. Due to certain change in circumstances, they wish to change the order. Will council allow this or it has to be via appeals or it is not possible at all? Please advice

many thanks

I suspect that if they make a change now their application will be marked as "late" which could affect their chance of receiving an offer. That is what would happen in my area, anyway.

What KCG said. That's what happens in Berks too.

If they need to change their preferences due to a change of address, that might be okay - they need to contact their LEA.

When did they put it in? Surely circumstances cannot change that quickly meaning you no longer can go to the school you put first? DH

I have read somewhere that last date to submit Bucks CAF with exceptional circumstances is 21 st November for March 1st round. I am sure that means real exceptional - they have put criteria example too - like long term hospitalisation etc.
