Not much change, but moving in the right direction.

Needs to further reduce designated area. At present, some of the area as far as touching A40 (Hanger Lane side) and West London and Staines are in the designated area.

Criteria for inner area needs to be placed after the criteria for open places. So far, my understanding is that no children from inner area has been admitted, who would not have been admitted under Open places criteria.

Also the criteria for pupil premium children from inner area needs to be broadened to include all children who are invited to stage 2 test.

Interesting proposed changes would indicate that currently not all the 60 inner catchment places are taken.

The proposed change is to do with the Intake of PP children.

I believe, there were sufficient other inner area children. However, all of these could have also been admitted under open places criteria too, as I believe last ranked admitted was above the cutoff rank for the PP and other inner area applicants, i.e 250th.

Which is why it is interesting and quite correct IMHO.

If what you say is correct, it will get more difficult for everyone else.

It would be interesting to know if there were 60 PP children in Stage 2 cohort in the first place.
