Audio Books

Post by humairahmed »

My Nephew is advised by the doctors that he should not concentrate on reading for more then 15 minutes. He has some issue with eye sight which can only be resolved when he will become 18, he is only 15 now and will appear in his GCSE exam in May 2018.
Can any one suggest any online audio resources for following subjects or any other suggestions?
Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, English

There is Mr Bruff for English on youtube.

Could he ask teachers as they need to be involved in this?

What special considerations are the school planning? He'll need to read the exam papers.

Do they mean, not to concentrate on the written word for more than fifteen minutes at a time, refocusing his eyes on something in the distance before returning to the text? Or literally, only fifteen minutes' reading (per day?), full stop? The former would imply that applying for extra time for public exams would suffice, the latter a major issue that the school needs to sort out with regard to arrangements for day to day classes well as public exams . Either way, the school, not the parent, has to apply for any special arrangements for his GCSEs, so need to be provided with all the required information as soon as possible.
