7 days to go and the countdown is on!!

I, like so many can't stop logging on and looking what everyone is getting up to and what you are all doing to pass the time. Anyway everyone is a little quiet so I thought lets get a countdown underway now there is just one week to go.
Particularly hoping for all you that are waiting for results from Wolverhampton and surrounds as we do seem to be few an far between with the masses being fro Birmingham and Sutton areas.
Good luck everyone I really hope all of your DC get the school of their dreams and look forward to spending the next week with you all.

I think I'm more worried than DS! Although he has mentioned it, and knows allocation day is looming. He'll be gutted if he doesn't get in, he's had his heart set on it since we visited the school. I'm quite hopeful (?), but just need to see it in writing before I can relax if that makes sense. I've got no nails left...

It is always difficult waiting until you see the result in black and white.I would be shocked A_Mum if your son doesn't secure his place.Its my understanding he scored 341 which would place him in the top 20% sitting the exam.Good luck.

does anyone know when staffordshire's online system becomes live? Trying to work out if it is worth staying up or not as I so love my bed

Well, no, it is t worth staying up because you cannot influence the result and, unlike some private schools who will remain nameless, the LEA do not operate an exploding offer system but give you a reasonable time to accept your offer. Also, until you know for sure, you have hope!
