Hoping it all gets sorted for you... and at least she has a qualifying rank - so if you choose to appeal that would be for oversubscription rather than non-qualification. They are generally easier to win:-

Thank you. Fingers crossed. Will be interested to know how far down the rankings SHS have gone - we could possibly have only just missed out in this round, or we could be way off still. The 'shuffling' could be interesting!

My DD's first choice was Pates. However, her rank was qualifying at 194 for Pates and she was not offered a place. Any idea up to what rank was offered this year? And, if we go on WL for Pates - what are the chances she could get in, and when? Wasn't it the case that last year March 1 offers went to up to 200? Thanks so much for any insight.

(She was offered a place at SHS and was within PAN for SHS)

We're in!!!! Thank goodness for that!!!! Its been a loooooong 4/5 months since results day!!
We were 151 for Pates so I was fairly confident we would make the cut but still there was that bit of uncertainty that has made for an extremely fractious 11yr old recently!!
Unfortunately, she doesn't want to know until she gets home from school - her reason was that if she didn't get in, she wanted time to process her disappointment

BUT seeing as its good news, I think I might tell her anyway!!!

Good luck everyone - I hope you get your 1st/2nd/3rd/4th choices!!!!!
