Remarking
I urge any parents who doubt the marks received to have a remark. Mistakes can be made by the teachers who mark the papers. I am speaking for experience with my child who after remark 20 marks added to standardised score due to an error in totalling up marks on paper.
Re: Remarking
Is there a chance that the mark could go down?
Re: Remarking
I thought so! That’s enough to put me off.
Re: Remarking
Who do you contact to get the papers remarked?
I think I am in the same boat as a few other parents whose children were expected to achieve high scores, yet completed the Test at Bushey Meads and attained surprisingly low outcomes.
Do I contact Bushey Meads or the School of choice?
Many thanks

Re: Remarking
I you were concerned about the mark and considered a remark, shouldn't you have thought about this in October, i.e. before the CAF had to be submitted?

I’m assuming that this could be for schools that have a second stage test afterthe CAF has gone in and that parents may not actually get results for until now.
Otherwise yes, remarks would be better before the CAF went in.
Re: Remarking
The consortium will not consider a remark until after the allocations on March 1st. I assume that it would need to be done as part of the appeal process. In the first instance I would imagine that you contact the school that you took the exam at, although I have no direct experience of the process.

Re: Remarking
I think some schools do a remark if someone is appealing - not sure which areas this is though
