any live chat avaliable?

Post by old-bag »

i am suffering!

so much to take in in so little a time!

i am going to start reading the stikies (tonight) as a kind person suggested, but is there anyway of communicating with others going through similar situation?.

our daughter didnt make handsworth or camphill, she's on the waiting list for both and she currently has no school places at all (not even the local state school), she is 49th at handsworth, and 95th at camphill.

the last school she went to they had the 'LOLLY POP' man doubling as the maths teacher, we removed her and put her at another school, and she has technically only had roughly 1 year of 'proper education',

what to do??!!!

Live Chat isn't a feature here. Have you looked at the Birmingham topic - http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... m.php?f=11 - as you'll be likely to find other locals there.

I'm not sure Live Chat would be that useful here, as you'd only be likely to be chatting to whoever is online at that time, rather than getting the 'considered' opinions of a wider circle of us.

And as for Lollypop... Music, please...

Oh the Lollipop Man has a great big stick,
And he only charges a penny a lick,
He waves it about when ever he can,
He's a dirty old ****** is the Lollipop Man.

(traditional non-PC song - couldn't resist the chance to use it, and apologies to any Road Crossing Attendants here).

do you think we would all benefit from a live chat option or venue?

to me it sounds like a great idea.

i'm up for a chat!

sometimes you think of things on the spur of the moment that you may need asking, and frankly by the time i manage to put it in writing it never sounds the same-or becomes a different question, or i simply forget!
hence --"old-bag"--- i blame it all on the pregnancy hormones.
