Bus routes to Parmiters

Post by Chambod »

I was hoping to receive the information regarding the bus routes in the pack that the children brought home from the diagnostic tests today. However, the letter states that this will be given in July at the Headmaster's talk to parents. Does anyone know the stops on the route in North Watford/Garston?

My DD really enjoyed the tests today. She met lots of new people and didn't feel the pressure of the November tests.

I've found the following info about the bus routes from a sheet I picked up at the open day last October. Of course, things might have changed.
Anyway, here's a list of the last 3 stops before school on each route;

PS1. Chiswell Green / Three Hammers / The Noke
PS2. How Wood shops / How Wood (Maplefield) / Bricket Wood
PS4. Courtlands Drive / Leavesden Green / Kingswood
PS5. Marsh Lane / Stanmore / Brockley Hill
PS6. North Bushey / Bushey Mill Lane (Tudor Pub) / Parkgate Road
PS7. Watford Town Hall Library / Cassiobury (The Gardens) / Essex Arms

There is no PS3!

Hope this helps,

T x

I understand from a current parent that the charge is £60 per month over 10 months. Anyone fancy sharing the school run to save £600 a year?!

Is there just one standard charge for everybody regardless of where you live? We live nearish but not in a reasonable walking distance to the school.

This is from King Harry Lane/Watford Road in St Albans which is not very far (3 miles?) but too far to walk/cycle safely
