See you Sept! Transition day 4 July like rest of Birmingham schools. Trains also here. We timed the walk from station to school was 10 minutes.
We timed it at 9 minutes from station entrance to school entrance so were very close lol!
Although I am sure ds1 could have walked faster had he not had me with him!

@ Um. I had to slow the husband down as I was trying for a realistic boy dawdle to get a fairly accurate time! Hopefully we'll get a couple of dry runs in before Sept. And, I need to practise letting go

Take heart that HGS is at least moving (albeit much slower than anticipated).
Our only hope was QMGS, which has moved only by 6 places since 28th March!
Although I've mostly accepted that it won't happen for us (ds has been 14th for weeks), I am rooting for everyone else! It's lovely to see other kids getting their places!

Hi Macmum, my son has a place a QM and just to let you know there will be induction sessions starting from June 5th for pupils to meet classmates. Hopefully if there are no shows on these dates this will release some places in the waitlist.Macmum wrote:Take heart that HGS is at least moving (albeit much slower than anticipated).
