maths sats score
does anyone know what 30 marks on a maths sats paper means?
Level Threshold Tables and Age Standardisation scores are avilable from the QCA Web Site at http://www.qca.org.uk/libraryAssets/med ... 05_wo1.pdf
There is more explanation of levels and how these have varied year on year at :-
http://www.qca.org.uk/qca_11983.aspx
Hope this helps

Many thanks for all your replies, I will have a good look at the links also.
so, to be level 5 you need to get 79 out of 100 for all three papers?
Daughter has told me that they are going to bring home the test papers to show parents, so I will have a better idea then. Just being a bit impatient!
thanks again

I have the paper now, it was the non calculator part that she scored 30 on and she missed the calculator part (Will ask school if I can have it anyway and do at home. had a look at link so am clearer now.
Do you know if when people mention sats level re appeals, are they talking about year 5 sats?
