Hi,
Just wanted to start a thread for those whose children are sitting their 11 plus exams in September. We are still awaiting a date through but are told it will be 8th or 9th September. Also have the MFL test for Ashlawn. How are you all feeling? I’m praying DS gives it his best shot and doesn’t get too nervous on the day and score lower than his true potential. I guess they’re all in the same shoes and so are we as Parents. Roll on results time!

Hi - we received our letter today, and our date is 8 September at Ashlawn. We're also in for the MFL - our DD wants to get into Ashlawn, so she's going to try both routes.

It's come round so quickly! I'm trying to keep her focused on doing 30 minutes each day, and she's now prompting me when she wants to do them (10 minute tests - using CGP, Bond and Letts), which is great - focused at last! Good luck to your son too! x

Has anyone received their letters for sitting the 11 plus in Stratford upon Avon yet? Last year we received our letters in the first week of August - my dd sat the exam in Shipston - but we haven't heard anything yet for this year.

No - we are also Southern area and haven’t had a letter yet. I imagine it will be this week if the Eastern ones have been sent.

Just curious - does anyone know how many children sit the Warwickshire 11+ exam? I'm just wondering so I can work out what proportion of them actually then achieve a Warwickshire grammar school place.
Ta.
