Yes VBusybee. Got email from SET about the results, and then a separate email from Wallington boys school. This is a very generic email though. Did your DS clear the wallington as well? The SET results email should say that..

Did your son definitely pass Wallington? There are usually a few boys who pass to the Wilson's/SGS second stage but don't pass Wallington.

If your son did pass Wallington then don't worry about not receiving the email. It's not a critical part of the process.

Vbusybee we have also cleared wallington and got invited for 2nd stage but got no email from wallington. I called the school yesterday they said they have some IT issues hence many parents have not got the emails , specially they mentioned gmail accounts. Hopefully they will solve the issue by Monday. They said emails are sent in random order not by names or scores and everyone who has qualified for wallington should get it.
Hope this will relieve some of your tension ,,,

Phew!! That’s a relief. Yes, we did pass wallington. Here is what we got

Greenshaw High School – has met the selective standard
Sutton Grammar School and Wilson's School – is invited for the shared second stage test
Wallington County Grammar School – has met the selective standard

Sutton Council's transfer to secondary booklet says 871 applied last year. You're only meant to put the school on the CAF if you passed the exam, so you could assume it's at least that number. SGS passed around 800 boys last year after second stage so 850 for Wallington sounds in the right ball park.

Thank you I thought it may have been slower lower due to the higher pass mark

The higher pass mark at stage 1 for Wallington allows them to get to the ~800 after a single test. At the same stage for SGS and Wilson's the list is ~1,000 boys because of the lower pass mark on the same test.
