My son got 221- any hope at all?
Help my had a score of 221. Any hope at all for Handsworth grammar school, ASton or Bishop Vessey? We live in Smethwick

Hello Lollipop2, based on previous years there is a chance of all 3. You would get HGS on offers day and potentially Aston as well. Hi, sorry for jumping in, but I'm in a similar dilemma, only difference my son has got a 209. Proud of him, but reflecting back at last years cut off scores is filling me with doubt. HELP.

At 209 your son is relatively likely to achieve a KE Handsworth Grammar (Boys) place, even if from the waiting list after March.
If it's your first choice, put it first. Then ensure that somewhere else on the form is a school he can definitely gain a place at (for example on distance) just in case the last score to Handsworth jumps this year.
