Selection review

Ok. Who can help me with this? Ds scored 120.75 but they rounded it down.

I'm sorry to hear your news. Your first step is to see the Head and find out how strongly they will support a review. What recommendation did they give? Are reports showing above expectations?

Do check the difference between a review and an appeal.

I suggest you ask for this to be moved to the appeals section.

Should help point you in the right place for Bucks.

Oh my gosh, that is unbelievably close! I did read that all scores would be rounded down.

Best of luck

In the past we have seen a few 120.xx scores for Bucks. From memory they work out in the end.

Selection review bucks (lea2124)

Post by lea2124 »

Hi. Really hoped we wouldn't be here but ds scored 120.75 and we're gutted. The headteacher isn't at school till Tuesday so basically we're unsure on our next steps.
Why is nothing ever simple?
Thanks

Maybe a mod could merge the two threads & lock one?

Agree Scarymum, I'll lock this one as there is more info in the other one and probably more appropriate to stay in the Bucks forum for now - can always see if OP wants to move it later

Headteacher not available till Tuesday (more waiting - which I'm going to need to get used to!)

All of his year 5 tests have been at greater depth. He's in a gifted and talented English and science group. You would expect the HT would support us.
