Southend high school for girls
Hi does anybody have any idea of previous years results for people outside of catchment area.
My daughter has achieved 317 and the pass is 303 for local children.
What do you think our chances are with 317 for outside of catchment.

See the historical guidance here - https://www.csse.org.uk/images/simplefi ... 0Entry.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I think you might struggle with 317 out of catchment.

Many thanks for the response.

We're an OOC 320, looking at SHSG too.
I think we're going to put SHSG as our first choice, followed by the two good, local, comps (we're unsure on which to place as our preferred local atm). If we're lucky and get SHSG then great, if not then c'est la vie...
As an aside, is it too late to move into catchment?

Re: Southend high school for girls
On the guidance sheet it says in the 3rd column, 303 is the lowest score of the successful applicants that got a place.
Westcliff girls was 317.
Both for out of catchment.
Suggest you apply as first choice and put it as waiting list too.

After 1st March you will be put on the waiting list of any of the schools higher on your list than your allocated school, you don’t need to do anythingORES wrote:michaeltse wrote:On the guidance sheet it says in the 3rd column, 303 is the lowest score of the successful applicants that got a place.
