I forgot to add - NGRT score over 15 in 2018 - I'm not sure what the number relates to, I assume was known back in the day as a "reading age"?

Welcome! Is the a Bucks primary or partner school?
It's the maths that is lower so I would briefly mention what you've said.
What data is there for KS1, Y3 and Y4? Has the Head mentioned whether other 1:2s qualified?

Welcome!
What was the CAT average? (I haven't time to work it out! )
If I were you I might mention "My son was in one of the few schools that suffered the timing issue" - but don't labour the point.
Not sure this will be good enough, bearing in mind the weight given to VR in the transfer test.VR:113

It all depends on whether the head's overall recommendations were realistic.1 for academic and 2 for attitude
Good, but what about Y2-4?end of Yr 5 ARE are all GDS, and his Yr 6 predictions 111-120 for Reading and Maths, and GDS for Writing.
As I've written elsewhere, if grammar school heads are satisfied that there is evidence that "each individual result is fair and valid", I see little point in raising the issue in review paperwork when two out of three review panel members will be grammar school heads. Moreover, with a respectable score like 120 I can't see that extenuating circumstances should be a big issue. My son was in one of the few schools that suffered the timing issue

Also - no indication from HT as to how other 1s and 2s got on....
Etienne - CAT mean were 116 in 2016 and 121 in 2017

Thing is we have no information about whether they have adjusted the scores because of this audio error.
I think we have to just assume it's been sorted and use any other information/evidence at the selection review.
My son scored 120.75. Fingers crossed we're both successful.

120.75? Jeez that's harsh!
Etienne - thanks for the link, will have a look (and cross my fingers).

Thanks for advice both that posted specifically in response to this question, and more generally on the forums!
Final questions - how much to write? I'm inclined to keep it brief, maybe bullet point, on the basis that less is more.
Conversely, I don't was to appear like it's not thought out and I've just chucked it in on the off chance.
Any views?
