BODMAS question
Hi all,
Can someone help with this BODMAS question? The answer is 205, according to the Bond book but it's not what I'm getting!
Pls set out your explanation. TIA!
17-3x2+(4sq - 3)x5
Sorry don't know how to set out 4 to the power of 2, which is what I mean by 4sq. I am really starting to think that the answer they've given is wrong...

Re: BODMAS question
brackets - 16-3=13Wimbles wrote: 17-3x2+(4sq - 3)x5
brackets * 5 = 65
then 3x2=6
so sum becomes
17-6+65= 76??
Re: BODMAS question
I make it 76 too, same method as Hermie
Re: BODMAS question
Thank you! I thought I was going mad - I make it 76 too, whichever way I look at it!
Re: BODMAS question
