RMS or St Margarets??

Post by Guest100475 »

DD has been offered a place at the Royal Masonic School and St Margarets, any suggestions on which one to go for would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi there - I might be able to help on RMS as I have a very close friend whose daughter attends the school. Range of academic abilities but they cater very well for all abilities including those who are very academic. Sports is very strong as is performing arts. I would say its a well rounded school and the staff are very helpful if a child needs extra support on a topic. Broad curriculum so opportunities for all. Sorry I don't have much knowledge on St Margarets.

Which did you think would suit her better when you looked round? What types of things does she like to do? Unfortunately none of us knows your daughter so it's very hard to say. I know someone who was very unhappy at RMS due to friendship issues etc, but that can happen anywhere, it doesn't mean your daughter wouldn't be happy there. Go with whichever you think would suit her best.
