Waiting lists

The lists are held in score order with distance as a tie break. There is a minimum score to go on to the waiting list.

In the letter they state a minimum score for the waiting list, to go on it I believe you will need to call and ask. The VERY important part here is that you accept the place you are offered, do not turn that place down (even if you have no intention of taking it up) because then Warks have no obligation to offer you another place. You can always turn that place down later.

That’s interesting I had thought that going on the waiting list was automatic if the child had scored high enough, thank you for confirming.

It has always been automatic in Warwickshire that you are added to the waiting list of any school listed higher on your CAf (that you are eligible for) than the school you are allocated - sportsforall are you saying that it is no longer automatic? As I have not seen that anywhere....?

If this is RHS then your chances of a place are incredibly slim, there is very little waiting list movement at RHS, likely less than 10.
