Buckinghamshire allocations March 1st 2019

Post by scary mum »

When the allocation distances are published I will include them here.

Please post any questions you may have on here, but please note - do not post scores if you are asking about the chances of getting in. In Bucks they are irrelevant over 121, but distance will be important.

If you are wanting to appeal for a place, please start your own thread in Appeals as it will get lost in here. Please read all the information here as many of your questions may already have been answered.

Please also see the How to appeal for a Bucks GS place 2019 sticky.

Good luck everyone.
Edited to add: Allocation distances are now available on the Buckinghamshire County Council website

Advice required- We live in MK and although DD passed the 11+ we didn’t get any of the grammar schools selected. Do we appeal or go on the waiting list? What is the chance being successfully?

Depends largely on where in MK you live. Last year was the first year that allocation distances for the Aylesbury schools shrank dramatically. Most of the children at my daughter’s school missed out and no one was successful in appeal.

Good luck everyone today.

Sorry to hear that YETS15 do you live somewhere on the far west of MK that was within the allocation distances last year?

If you are in Bucks you should be able to log in and view the results on line, if you applied on line. You will also receive an email today. If you applied on a paper form you will be sent a letter.
If you are outside Bucks you will hear from your local authority.
