Rank categories
Has anybody been sent / found the rankings by gender/ school/ catchment etc yet for Warwickshire?
Re: Rank categories
There is a spreadsheet showing gender breakdown. Google Warwickshire foi and go to website and select ‘online disclosure’. Then type in ‘grammar scores’ and search. This will throw up about 4 results . Select and access the spreadsheet dated 18/10/2018

The spreadsheet on the WCC seems to be for entry in September 2018 rather than this year.MLW wrote:There is a spreadsheet showing gender breakdown. Re: Rank categories
It's misleading but it's this year's data. The title 'FOI Request for ranking of the 2018 eleven plus exams. 3827964' suggests otherwise, but if you view the data, you can check by total number of candidates which corresponds with this year.

I’m curious to find out the gender rankings too. All I can find is the rankings pdf for all children?
Re: Rank categories
Hi Centralperk,
I am sure I have found a gender breakdown for this year's entry. I stumbled across it a couple of days ago by searching freedom of information on the Warwickshire site. If I'm right, 1643 girls and 1726 boys took the test. From this data, the SGGS AQS of 215 is at a ranking of 445 girl and the score of 214 would be ranked at 463 girls. There are 17 girls with a score of 214. For KES, the AQS of 233 is ranked as 286 boys and the score of 232 is ranked as 301 boys. There are 20 boys with a ranking of 232. However, I can't tell from the data whether they are out of area, southern priority or eastern priority.
The path i went is via https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/accesstoinformation" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and then click on the link to 'online disclosure log. You then need to type 'grammar scores' into the keyword search, then click on the excel spreadsheet FoI_3827964_ResponseDoc.xlsx dated 18/10/2018. The title suggests it's the previous year's data but I am sure it is current year (2019) based on the total number of candidates taking the exam is 3369 same as the number for this intake. Also my DC’s score and rank correlate to the data on this ss.

Re: Rank categories
This is really useful. So you think there are 15 boys on a score of 232???
Re: Rank categories
Hi Waitinglist33
Looking at the data, there were 35 children who scored 232 and 15 of those are boys but why don't you have a look and check if you agree. Unfortunately, we don't know whether the children are out of area, southern or eastern.

Thank you for the link unfortunately it still won’t work for me properly. Wondering if it’s anything to do with being on an iPad? It just says that my son’s score of 215 is ranked 1075 but that’s out of everyone. I’mcurious to know what his ranking is out of the boys only.
