Westcliff High School for Boys (Yr 7 in 2019)

Post by rugbymum9 »

Hi guys,
Would love to hear from other new WHSB parents - my son was offered a place for September 2019, couldn't be more thrilled!
Looking forward to the journey!

My son's going there too. Exciting - and a bit scary!

The wait was stressful, but all worth it! Very exciting yes, and extremely scary! Hope you have some fingernails left :-)
Exciting times ahead... looking forward to the next 7 years!

I think it's going to be a huge change but hopefully they'll settle in quickly. Does your son know many boys who are going there too?

Congratulations to you all.

My son is also going WHSB - can I ask where you are travelling from? We are coming from South Woodford.

That, one might say, is certainly a journey to conjure with.

There are always nice properties for sale within walking distance of the Westcliff schools and the mainline stations down here...

I'm sure they will settle quickly - many expectations, but they'll be fine! My son knows a few from his rugby team and one boy from his school. How about your son?

We live in Hockley - he will be catching the bus... (I'll be following in my car to see he gets there safe - I'm feeling a little nervous about his journey in each day)
