Hello All,
Can anyone please help me to understand the siblings criteria for admission changes 2020.
Category 4, Siblings with priority score -- If there are 100 siblings qualified for a school in this category, Can LA offer places for all the 100 siblings after priority 1,2 or 3 are filled. Or is there any percentage allocated for Siblings.
Many thanks.
Regards, Anjan.

No - in Warwickshire usually when deciding within categories, the next criteria used is distance from school. So Sibling A living 1 mile from school with priority score would get the place ahead of Sibling B with priority score living 2 miles from school. Schools will usually offer to PAN (published admissions numbers). They do make exceptions for multiple births (however, where it is a selective school, as in your example, the score/rank is the key thing - ie a twin who had not achieved a qualifying score would not get admission solely because their twin had achieved the qualifying score)

Thanks kenyancowgirl.
My question is, if 100 siblings got a qualifying score for a KE school and living in proposed school catchment. All 100 siblings can get offers into that school after Category 1,2 and 3 are filled.
Many thanks.
Regards, Anjan.
