BV Waiting List News 2019

Hi, my son got 221 and we live in Solihull, I don't think he has a chance to get into BV (being realistic), but wanted to keep an eye out what is happening with the waiting list and scores including distances, so would appreciate if anyone can update please. Thanks

Thanks, with best intentions I was just trying to isolate information for BV rather than trawling through the all the messages....

DS is 1 on waiting list. 228 and 0.9 miles from school. I know of one other with 228 on waiting list

My DS is on the waiting list for BV with a score of 226 and 3.5 miles. I called B'ham LEA today and they confirmed he was 32nd on the waiting list. She said they'd know more after appeals are heard on 1April but by my reckoning that would push him further down the list not up it.

If there are successful appeals from above your DS on the waiting list, he would nominally move up. But balancing this, you would be waiting for more DC with an actual place at the school to turn it down, before your DS got an offer, as the school would be over PAN.

So, realistically this means BV waiting lists will potentially see movements after 1st April from the way I interpret this....

Looks like BV is the last of the schools to move on their lists. I think all the other schools have now gone to 2nd offers
