Ok I've had a read of that thank you. Will speak to her teacher and head. They are willing to do everything they can to support. I'm starting to feel like we have very little chance though.

Am slowly working my way through all the information. I had an operation and recovery during the time leading up to the 11 plus test, would this be considered a mitigating circumstance?

You would to have evidence that your operation had an impact on you DC's work specifically at that time

the best way would be if the teachers noticed any change in how they were working / distraction etc at that time

I agree.
And exactly how long before the test was the operation?
Was the school informed about the operation beforehand?

My daughter is very good at drama and has been in professional shows. The grammar we are appealing for has excellent drama facilities. How best can I word this? To say that she would be an asset to the school with her drama ability and experience?

I don't mean I should say she would be an asset to the school. Need a better way to word it. Thanks.

How do I make sense of the results?

Post by Mindthegap »

I've had my daughters 11plus results ready to lodge an appeal but what do they mean. How do I know how good or bad they are? She qualified but school is over subscribed so currently on a waiting list.
Thanks
