DS 812 for Crypt just received letter offering place from waiting list! Yay!

He's a twin and my DD also didn't get her first choice. But she's also very close on the waiting list for her (non-Grammar) school, so we won't open the champagne until they're both in.

I know how you feel - I have twins as well
Twin 2 had his first choice (Crypt) on allocation day, but twin 1 was on the waiting list for Crypt as he missed out on getting a place by 1/2 point, as we had scores back then not ranks. Plenty of time left for reshuffles taking place now. They have had nearly 7 fantastic years at Crypt and are just about to take their A-levels.

We handed a place back for Crypt on the 12/4/19 so hopefully someone will be happy.

Ribston Hall ranking 550 and above do you know if they offered a place 2019 allocation?

Crypt - no offer (rank 919)
Ribston - Offer accepted 454
SHS - third choice so no offer (rank 426- so very unlikely anyway)

Ribston Hall ranking 550 and above do you know if they offered a place 2019 allocation?

The results email is quite clear that 550 was an allocation day ranking. They may have gone lower after reconsideration and appeals
