Very interesting, thanks AML.
It seems single sex education is going out of fashion. St Paul’s boys are likely to admit girls into the Sixth Form soon too.

Letter states:
Jan 2020 - both boys and girls from a new pre-Reception through to year 2
Sept 2020 - boys admitted in to sixth form and into year 3 and 4
Sept 2021 - Years 5 and 6 will also accommodate boys
from sept 2022 - all year groups will become co-ed

No, but co-ed was just one of the things they tried to do to save it.
Peterborough and St Margaret's is another girls' school which closed in the last few years. I think this part of town is saturated with girls' only private schools, so to keep above the competition is tough.
