I rang FO today out of curiosity as we are not anticipating an offer from KEFW or CHG but wondered how far away we actually were. She is 13th on CHG and 22nd on KEFW w/l - we are 2 miles away from CHG so assume southbrummum is above us on the W/l!
Not holding out hope but just posting for info as everyone has been so helpful sharing their scores and places.
Hi My daughter's friend started Camp Hill in Feb. You do get children leaving after September and you have to renew the waiting list in December. GOOD LUCK and i hope your daughter gets a place at CH
Thank you Bobby! We are very happy with Handsworth as a school but FW and CH much closer for us and that’s really important to DD. Trying not to get too invested though as we are still way down the list.
Congratulations to others getting offers. A stressful time when the kids have worked so hard, and scores have jumped so much! All of us here want the best for our children and that is arguably THE most important part!

Congratulations. Really good news.

Fab news for those receiving offers.
For those still waiting.... hang in there.

I have contacted QM as our son is on the list. I have not removed him as I want to see how it pans out - he is so far up that he won't get a place so not affecting those still waiting high up the lists.

This will show other parents how slowly QM waiting list moved this year.

332 score approx 6.9 miles

27th Position on 8th March 2019
38th Position on 12th March 2019
33rd Position on 26th March
30th Position on 4th April
29th Position on 10th April
27th Position on 2nd May
25th Position on 14th May

We have only moved up 2 places from when the WL was collated. We did drop from 27 to 38th place though! So since then we moved 13 places.

Spoke again to the FO, DD scored 226

15/5 37th on the waiting list for CHG and 62nd for FW
8/5 39th for CHG, 69th for FW
30/4 41st for CHG, 82nd for FW

The list moves 2 places/week, meaning I need 18 weeks for her to get a place!!

Hi Mizoinuk, things are going to be slow for the next few months but who can tell what will happen - it’s been a very odd year! I’m not sure what school you have currently for your daughter but she did really well to get that score. It’s easy to forget just how super selective the Birmingham grammars are. Best wishes wherever she ends up!

Delighted to advise my DS was offered a place at BVGS on the 15/5. He scored 224 and is approx 2.3 miles from school. We have declined his place at QMGS.

Good luck to all :D
