Morning all

Just a quick update for those waiting on QMGS. I know we will not get offered a place so by remaining on this list is purely to aid parents in the future.
As you can see the position can go both up and down.

This is our WL positions to date:
6.9 miles
332 score

27th Position on 8th March 2019
38th Position on 12th March
33rd Position on 26th March
30th Position on 4th April
29th Position on 10th April
27th Position on 2nd May
25th Position on 14th May
19th Position on 12th June

In this last month there has been a movement of approx 6 places.
Admissions have advised places can go up and down.

Fingers crossed for those still waiting.
Hopefully there will be some more movement when inductions take place. My son confirmed at his induction there were no shows, I suspect this may be where children had most likely decided to accept Indies and not let the school know.

Hi all,
We have just released a place at KEVIHS in favour of SCGSG, received offer on Friday. Decision based purely on ease of transport - we would have been dependent on the green bus, but there is uncertainly as to how that will pan out with new catchments. We are close to a train station on the cross city line to Sutton, so this seemed the sensible option.
Good luck to anyone still waiting, there is clearly a little bit of movement!

Evening all, just a quick update...
My son (score 222) has been offered a place at Bishop Vesey,we have accepted that and freed up a place at Handsworth Grammar.

Also, can someone help.....?

My son scored 333 for the Walsall exam, QM tell me he is 15th on the waiting list but Walsall council say he is 7th, who is likely to have the more uptown date list?

Congrats. I'd stick with the school (unfortunately) as that will have an exact list and any additions to that list.
We know 334 has been offered.
