anyone know this answer and explain to me

Question No. 1
The numbers in each pair are connected by the same rule. Find the missing number.
(8, 6) (20, 10) (5, 5) (11, ?)

Answers (a) 7
(b) 9
(c) 10
(d) 8

Question No. 2
Here are four words which have something in common
flock, herd, pack, pride

Which of the following words could join in this group.
(a) Cattle
(b) Class
(c) gaggle
(d) bouquet

Haven't got a clue with the first one, but the answer to the second one is "gaggle" as they are all collective nouns (a gaggle of geese, a flock of birds, a herd of cows, a pack of wolves, a pride of lions)

question one: take first number add 10 then divide by 3, so the answer is 7

question two: I think it is gaggle and they are all names for groups of animals.

One way is to write them in order if you are trying to find a rule:

(5,5)

(8,6)

(11,?)

(20,10)

You can see a jump of three in the first value gives an increase of 1 - so I tried the three times table,
