Colchester Transport

Post by pinkrabbit38 »

We’re not one of those families who didn’t check transport before applying for our daughter’s school. In fact the bus goes from near our house all the way there....we are now having a bit of a nightmare!!!

We are entitled to free transport and Essex in their wisdom decided to put our DD3 on the train to Mark’s Tey....this would involve a bus to Chelmsford station, train to Mark’s Tey and then my understanding is that it would be another bus the other end.

We requested a change so they’ve put us on the Stephenson’s coach which goes from Broomfield (we are Galleywood). As far as I recall there is a First Bus that goes from Wood Street Tesco to Colchester but I can’t get on the CSSE website to check, I’m now wondering if I imagined this or completely looked at the CSSE transport section wrongly.

Please any Chelmsford people or those in the know behind the laptop/tablet screens can you help me. We are Galleywood.
