A level results 2019

Post by booellesmum »

Good luck to everyone today.
I am going insane - sitting looking at grade boundaries while DD1 is still asleep!

Good luck to you & yours.
DS2 still asleep. He was caught up in the Edexcel maths debacle although I see only 55% is needed for an A which seems crazy. Does anyone know if track has updated? They always say 8 am & then people swear it happened earlier.

DD, having decided to go into school at 7.20am (bit optimistic, methinks  ), is currently somewhere in the showering process. The OCR Eng.Lit. boundaries, assuming that the leaked document is genuine, are just a bit scary. She got 25/25 and 13/15 for the two elements of Component 03, which is encouraging, but still...

She asked if one of us would go at least as far as the school gates with her, to make sure she goes in (results not being made available online at her school, unless it's something else they haven't told us / them. At the moment, I have a ParentPay item which says, If you have lost a book, enter details in text box when paying for it - I have pointed out that a) even of DD can remember what she hasn't returned, if she has lost it / them, I have no idea how much it / they cost  ).

We had to buy all the A level books. Mind you, we did find a year 9 geography text book the other day!

My DS has just finished his fist year at Coventry and loves it.

Good luck to all of your DC.

That's great news! Good Luck to others getting results today

I must say I loved track - the answer was there before having to go over to school and open the dreaded envelope. DS missed a grade (later remarked and upgraded) but would have been v worried getting the results if he hadn't already seen on track that he had been accepted.
