KGS and LEH entrance exam on same day

Hello,
I've been doing some research into entrance exam dates and puzzled that KGS and LEH have their entrance exam on the same day this coming Jan. Surely there'd be a fair few candidates who'd want to sit for both?

Is anyone planning to apply to both and do you know if either school make provision for that? Early days for us as DD won't sit until 2021, but I'm interested for the future! Very surprised two schools so close together would schedule their exams on the same day!

Is this usual?

Yes it’s normal. There are only a few days in early Jan when the schools can hold their exams before their pupils return. There will be a back up exam date either a few days or a week later. KGS often hold a back up 11plus session on the same day as the 10 plus exam too.
Register as normal for the schools you are interested in and then in November contact the option that is a back up school and asked to be moved to the back up date. Sometimes it means you are no longer eligible for a scholarship.

Lots of schools clash and they are mostly happy to offer a backup date.

Always best to contact them as soon as you become aware of it. DG
