Cubes and nets in the Newstead exam?
I have heard via a friend whose friend was told by her child's tutor that cubes and nets aren't in the Newstead exam. I think the statement came from the 'fact' that they haven't appeared in the last few years (apparently). I wondered if anyone knew if they are officially not included? I am guessing not, but we are going to do a little extra work on them and so I thought I should ask! Thanks.

Re: Cubes and nets in the Newstead exam?
Spatial including cubes and nets haven’t been in the Newstead test in the past. I suspect they use the same test year after year but don’t know for certain. There could of course be a year this changes so flexibility and wide knowledge is good.

Thanks so much PWfiona! That is really helpful. We will work on it a little but not sweat it so much. DD will be pleased.
The fact that kids aren't allowed to write on the paper made me think they must reuse them in some way. We will get the practice paper at the open day. But that is only a week before the exam.
Glad it will be all over (or at least practice will be) soon.
