Preparing for STEP exam
Hello everyone
DD is planning on taking the Step exam and has started preparing for it by herself. She feels doing a few past papers would be enough preparation. While it's nice to see her wanting to do it and prepare herself for it, I wonder if that's enough. Are there any other resources that she can use ?

This is a post by Guest55 from this time last year in response to a very similar question.
( If you search in previous threads you may well find more information).

"Achievment in the Sixth Term Examination Papers (STEP) normally forms part of a conditional offer to read mathematics at Cambridge. The examinations are administered by the Admissions Testing Service (which is part of Cambridge Assessment, the parent company of the OCR examination board) and are taken in late June."
Schools normally support their students with additional lessons and there are online support websites such as https://maths.org/step/welcome" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
TSR also has a STEP preparation thread.
Roughly 50% of Cambridge maths offers are missed because the STEP requirements are not met so they have to be taken seriously.

Re: Preparing for STEP exam
Thank you KB, that's very helpful. Apart from Cambridge, there are a few other Universities that she looked at ask for it.
