Please may I remind everyone that discussing specific test content is not allowed - the same test may be used for late sitters (giving them an unfair advantage) and it is against forum rules. Talking about the format may fall into none discussable content.

That’s is a bit unfair using the same paper

Most 11 plus exams are used for late sitters all year, that's why we encourage people not to give information to anyone, including parents/tutors who contact you by pm and ask for information, even if they say their child has already say the exam.Victor wrote:That’s is a bit unfair using the same paper

The normal arrangement for the CSSE is that a different paper is used for the reserve date sitting at the beginning of October, then the main date paper is made available to purchase for practice at the beginning of February. So for the 'mop up' session(s), presumably either the reserve date paper is used, or a third equivalent paper.

A colloquial term, on this occasion referring to any additional sessions for late sitters/those who were ill on the original test date.

Yes - in this case, a late (post allocations day) one for those with a legitimate reason for missing the original two.kenyancowgirl wrote:A colloquial term, on this occasion referring to any additional sessions for late sitters/those who were ill on the original test date.

They do for the afternoon but not the one on the 1st.Victor wrote:That’s is a bit unfair using the same paper
I'm not sure any advantage can be gained anyway. I was at KEGS on Saturday and those for the second sitting had to be in and registered before the morning group were let out. There may always be an exception but they would only be harming their own chances by 'passing on,' information.
Anyway, how much time would you have to practise an answer?

a) Why would you risk it?
b) it is against the T&C which anyone using this forum signed up to agree to.
