That’s a huge variation too - 4 miles to 7.5
Makes it very hard to predict!! Really is awaiting game turn unless you life nearby

Another interesting point (if that’s the right word!) is that for UGS Year 7 entry Sept 19 the intake was approx 100 boys to only 50 girls. No idea why as it is usually around 50/50.

That’s interesting. Not sure if that’s a reflection on the year group as a whole? I know our school and one near by are both boy heavy in year 6. Or did more girls local to UGS go to AGSG I wonder. Although there intake area was big last year too. I’m assuming Sale and Stretford are pretty much 50/50?

Panicker - the admission criteria for AGSB changed for 2019 entry resulting in far fewer OOC places being offered (I think). Am guessing some boys who would have gone to AGSB took up places at Urmston instead?
