Kent Test
Good afternoon - my son did not pass the Kent Test but overall scored high - 359 (330 is a pass) but failed math by 4 points. He is heartbroken and wants us to appeal. The irony is that the school he chose is super selective and requires 350 points at least which he did.. I do not have much evidence of academic excellence as he is a typical energetic boy who loves learning but can get easily bored and his books are messy.. so got him a math tutor to get him from average to deeper understanding, hopefully it can help and my son is happy to study extra. How much evidence do I need to produce and what else apart from the school tests I can attach to the appeal? Thank you very much xx

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear about your position. Just one point did you put the school that he wants to go to on your CAF?

Thank you, yes, we did - in fact I put another grammar from our catchment area just in case I will feel brave and litiguous enough to do it twice.. But what a palaver! Feel sorry for everyone in similar position xdoodles wrote:Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear about your position. Just one point did you put the school that he wants to go to on your CAF?
