Admission forms Yr 7

Post by josh2017 »

Hi,

We have accepted the place at Colchester county high school for girls and have received the admission/school forms, is there a deadline to return them to school, given the school is closed now, has anyone sent the forms by mail or will be taking to school in person?

Does it not have any deadline in the pack you received? If not, I would return them ASAP - the post is a little flower at the moment and the school may be physically closed to all but key worker children, but will actually be open with admin and key teaching staff, as they are still providing lessons to ALL children online and getting ready to welcome back y10/12 in the next week or so. They will need some of the information in the forms to help plan classes for September. And it also confirms your attention to actually turn up.

According to the parent bulletins on the school website, it is definitely open for students whose parents are key workers. And I can't imagine that any secondary (or primary school, for that matter) won't have someone on site dealing with admissions and appeals at the moment. And someone must have sent the packs out...?
