My DD WL is 34, someway to go but looks like it moved 5 odd places in 3 weeks. Keeping fingures crossed.

Likely for few more places to be available in next few weeks. 17 is not far.

Oh dear, this year it seems like movement is minimal, with no movement since the 16th of June.
Did they change the process this year? Based on earlier threads it seems some people received offers after National Offer day who had not been allocated a position on the waitlist. I wonder if the waitlist this year is a 'second' waitlist and therefore movement seemingly less ie. #20 is actually an equivalent to a 2019 #35 per say... thus my dd and I have been hoping in vain...

Haven't read the thread. But from when we did it last (2017) there is not much movement from here on in - although there was a bit. One girl did join halfway through the first term.

It seems there has been no movement for a number of weeks. I presume there will be none now until school opens again in September.

If that would be the case, even if places were actually to become available in the meantime, then that is a pretty powerful case for all main round admissions waiting lists to be held by a school's maintaining LA until the start of the autumn term, regardless of the status of the school. In practice, there will surely be admin staff in the school over at least part of the holiday period?

Or do you mean that TGS dual state / indie offer holder parents 'have form' for waiting until September before letting the school know that the uniform they bought weeks back wasn't the one with its logo on?
