READING results 2020 (for 2021 entry)

Post by Maidenhead99 »

Hi.. the results seem to be out. Just checked following an email.

My son got 112.08 - not sure if it will be enough though. Any ideas on the range of scores yet?

I’ve edited your title so it’s consistent with Kendrick and Slough results thread,(it makes it easier for me to find them in later years) - Tinkers

Hi

Does anyone know the highest score for Reading School 2021 entry. Is the FAQ 127.07 score for 2020 entry or it reflects 2021 entry results.

I believe that score relates to 2021 entry results.

Thank you Tinkers.

I remember there used to be a ‘calculator’ that converts scores to ranks to get a feeling of where our score ranks so we have better clarity of whether we are definitely in.

I used that for my daughter 7 years back and was great to have that comfort. Do we have a link to that please

However it’s less accurate for CEM than it as for GL, and the stats were clunky with GL (due to the actual result being a combination of more than one test, so the standard deviation is different. The calculator can’t take this into account). I suspect the historic allocation data will give you a better idea tbh.

hello friends,

My daughter has scored 122 in slough and 114.48 in Kendrick. We live in Wokingham, so we are in P2 for Kendrick. Would anyone be able to advise, if there is a chance of Kendrick and as alternates I am considering Hershel and Holt. Hershel is about 16 miles away and she would need to take the coach to get to school, while Holt is less than a mile. While we are an academically focused family, I am acutely aware of the burden of travel if I choose Hershel. Hearing from folks who might actually be doing the travel and how you find it would help. Would appreciate any advise and different viewpoints to help me make this really confusing decision easy for us. :?
